Quarter century

In 1996, MEDICOM TOY was born in Tokyo Shibuya shortly after the collapse
of the bubble economy. Over the last 25 years, entertainment barriers
around the world have been drastically removed.

The explosive growth of the Internet and the archives parallel to it
were enormous, and it was an era in which all content from high culture
to youth culture, such as anime/manga, art, music, and fashion,
was relativized and dismantled.

Looking back, MEDICOM TOY has played a role in the merging and reconstruction
of various cultures, sometimes radically and sometimes intuitively,
using "toys" as a medium. With a new form of entertainment culture and
our unchanging belief of "Make things we want", we move on to the next era.

[Request to customers visiting the exhibition]
To lower risk of COVID-19 infection, masks, hand sanitize and temperature measurement
are required.

When visiting the venue, please follow the Social Distancing rules below.
・Even if you are a lottery winning customer, please refrain from visiting the venue
if you have any concerns about your physical condition on the day.
・Only the winners should come to the venue.
Please refrain from visiting with multiple people such as family members or friends.
・Please keep social distancing of 1.5 to 2m as specified by the government inside or outside.
・Please follow the instructions of the venue staff.
If you do not follow the instructions of the staff or the above protocols,
you may be asked to leave and we may refuse all purchases and entry at MEDICOM TOY official shops in the future.
・Please note that we may refuse admission if your temperature is 37.5℃ or higher
at the time of temperature measurement.
・Please note that the venue may be closed or products release may be canceled/postponed
depending on the COVID-19 pandemic states.
・This application is only for those who have a smartphone.

Unfortunately, the winning rights are invalid for the winners who have received
a winning notification (email) and have not registered the winner information
(registration of a face recognition system) by the due date.

For some of those who applied for the lottery from June 26th to July 4th,　
we have sent an email for the 2nd application information.

If you received the 2nd application information (email) and wish to visit
“MEDICOM TOY 25th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION” , please proceed
the registration (registration of a face recognition system) promptly.
